Back to reality.
This week was good, went by fast. I just don't want it to be Sunday. Dan goes back to work on Sundays and it is like Monday to me. YUCK!!! At least on Monday I have one less kid during the day. Friday Dan and I went to the doctor for our first prenatal check-up with the doctor. Everything is normal. We got to hear the heart beat through the doppler right off the bat and then we also were able to get a u/s. The u/s was amazing. The baby was playing with his/her feet with her/his hands. I wanted to cry it was so awesome.
I was/have been pretty concerned about my weight gain over the last 10 weeks or so. I have gained 22 lbs since I have been pregnant. I told him I have been really concerned and he told me sometimes the hormones can make you gain and that it could be water retention as well. He said to stay away from junk food. I have a goody every now and then but not enough to gain 22lbs. Furthermore I am on the elliptical 3-5 days a week and by my heart rate watch I am burning no less then around 500 per workout of 30 minutes or more, and I am not eating 500+ in extra calories per day. WTH
The doctor does want to me to go see a perinatal doctor. When I am not sure. They are suppose to call me and let me know. Nothing to be concerned with. Just family genetics. Maybe if I go around my 15th week, if they decide to do a ultrasound they would be able to find out the sex, and the sex of the baby is a major factor in whether or not there could be issues. They have more sophisticated machines then regular obgyns. LOL I am thinking girl because the babies heart rate this last Friday was 170-171. I didn't eat any sugar before I went, nor was I running to get there. Plus 99 percent of my dreams have been about having a baby girl. Either is fine. I have 2 boys and 2 girls now so a boy or girl is fine with me. Just a healthy baby is what matters most. Also they bumped me up a week, back to my original date of Nov 1st. So my ticker went up a week. Just in case you didn't notice :)
Javi had his football game this weekend and he kicked butt. He was quarterback for most of the game, and when he wasn't quarterback he made a jump to catch the ball and then took off on everyone for a touchdown. I was so proud of my baby. :) He was also team captain which I thought was pretty cool. Javi is only 6 and the rest of his team mates are either 7 or 8. I really like this league. It is through his elementary school. Some of the teachers volunteer and are the coaches. I really like that I don't have to drive all over the place to watch him play and he practices at his school during the week. Instead of driving him to practice I just have to pick him up from school an hour later on MOndays and Thursdays. I was able to catch the amazing catch on video and will post it tomorrow or the next day.
Well I have been pretty tired lately. I think I might take a nap. Above are the pictures from the u/s on Friday. ENJOY

Well at least bumping you up gets you closer to being out of your first trimester. Great pics by the way! So excited for you!
I agree with the doc. No way you could have an actual gain of 22 pounds already. Some people have told me they gained all of their weight in their 1st trimester.
Hope you have a great week!
Pictures of my new Gbaby brought tears to my eyes....lol...well this time they really did!
Love you, kid. Thanks for a great dinner last night
Hey there! I am not sure when I will have another u/s. I am hoping soon because EVERYONE wants to know the sex. I have an appointment next Thursday so I am going to ask then. Hope your week is well!
